I know this is going to get me lots of hate and whatnot, but I just CANNOT stand seeing Fenris and Isabela together. It’s this deep-rooted aversion to the entire concept that I can’t seem to be able to get rid of it. I just hate the idea that someone like Fenris would sleep with someone like Isabela, because to me, and I’m really sorry for saying this if it angers anyone, she’s just this shallow, daft, sex-hungry pirate who just wants to jump his bones and is not interested in HIM as a person whatsoever. That’s just how I see it. That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s right.
Gosh. I just… I can’t! Not once does she say anything that helps indicate that she respects him and admires him for who he is, not for his incredibly good looks.
And what makes me loathe this ship even more?
The fact that Fenris actually goads her on during that stupid guessing the colour of his underwear banter.
Urgh.
I’m not a fan of the pairing either, but I have a way around it. I figure if you don’t have them in the party at the same time(which is how you hear that banter), they don’t end up in bed together.
